My Work Here Is Done!!

All set and ready to head home!! Our taxi is arranged to pick us up at 4:30am for the airport! I can't wait to be done flying and for Alyssa to meet her family. She has no idea just much love we have waiting for her back home!!

So what an incredibly smooth adoption, wow! No stress, other than waiting, or tears of sadness, except over our loss of "Piper," though we rejoice believing she is now with her loving biological family. Such an easy process (when thinking about the ability to cause aging when adopting lol) compared to adopting from Ukraine!

Alyssa is doing awesome! Don't get me wrong, its not all rainbows and unicorns, she has some naughty behavior she will need to learn can be safely left behind, but all in all, she's perfect for our family!! I am so excited (though I should probably be frightened) for her to meet Marni. i'm telling you, together they will at least TRY to take over the world!! lol

Silly girl is still using a handful of signs and cracks me up when she uses them on me. Her  latest is doing some naughty behavior she has been previously corrected for numerous times, spotting my gaze, stopping, then signing AT ME "stop!" Uh yeah, that's what I was gonna say!! lol Oh she is going to be fun for sure!!

Well, time to catch some Zzzz before our looooong trip home but here are some pictures of our baby to hold you over until I get the chance to post again :) (yes, we "backpacked" through the mall...and she LOVED it!! She was able to feel comforted by our closeness and still look at everything around us without slowing us down lol)
